This product is fantastic! I've actually enjoyed shaving, it shaves very close and I don't miss a hair with this! My legs don't feel dry or itchy, but this shave gel hasn't helped with little red bumps and I have to re-shave everyday (especially on my calves). I gave it a 4 (instead of a 5) because of that. I am going to try a different aveeno shave gel in hopes that I wont have to shave every day and I wont have razor burn. But this is by far the best shave gel I've used so far. Oh, and by the way, it smells great and you don't have to use a lot to get the job done!

I have never had a closer shave! It goes on easily, a little cold at first, and makes a nice lather without using very much gel, and leaves a smooth and clean feeling. The shave is so close that it last much longet than my previous foamy product. I am very impressed with this stuff.

I used to be a very loyal Aveeno consumer after using many of their products and finding that many of their products do not compare with others. I especially loved this one. I had a bad razor-burn episode, and this took care of it completely.

Around my 44th birthday, shaving my underarms began causing extreme irritation. I use an electric wet/dry razor and even bought a new one, thinking it was the blade. Finally, shaving on the morning of my father-in-law's funeral, I practically ripped my underarms to shreds--could barely move my arms, couldn't put on deodorant--and we were having a houseful of people afterward. I called my dermatologist and he told me two things: 1. Aveeno is the best shaving cream out there. He said that in his 40s he, too, had problems after shaving. Switched to Aveeno and hasn't had that problem again. 2. For extra-delicate skin, such as underarms, he recommended slathering Vaseline on the area before bedtime one or two nights before I planned to shave. It's hard to get off, but it works! (For last-minute shaving, Aveeno irritates my skin far less than other brands, but the Vaseline really helps.) My husband recently shared my Aveeno on vacation and was very impressed. We're a one-brand household now!

Great shaving cream--I simply follow the directions and lather it up on my legs. Then I use my nick-free razor on it. Now I'm pretty fearless when it comes to shaving. I have never gotten those razor cuts using this product!

I love this shave gel! Before using this product, I'd get out of the shower after shaving my legs and they would be burning and all dried out until I slathered on two layers of thick "anti-itch" body lotion. After using this shave gel, no irritation, no burning feeling. I LOVE this - will DEFINITELY be a repeat-buyer!

I used to use this stuff until I tried the Clearisil men's shave gel, and all my acne went away. I switched back to Aveeno briefly, and my acne came back. Doesn't hold a candle to Clearisil.

I love Aveeno products, and this one, productwise, is spectacular. It poufs up into a thick, creamy foam, doesn't smell too strongly, and works great for my skin. I switched just a few months ago, and have loved the results. My complaint, unfortunately, is with the packaging. I have owned a couple of these, and I notice that within a few weeks, the bottoms of these cans tend to get very rusty. At first I put up with it, although it is SUCH a hassle cleaning off the rust stains from the tub. Then a friend pointed out that I'm basically exposing a freshly shaven area, with the real possibility of microscopic nicks and cuts to rust. (or shaving with rusty product!) Not the healthiest combination. Call me overly paranoid, but that was enough to make me hesitate using it again. Too bad, because I absolutely love the foam!
