This is an amazing product. There is a one star review here from a reviewer that does not understand the product. I think she might have thought this was supposed to be a candy? There is no pepper taste what-so-ever it is just a mild lemon lime flavor in a base of a compacted powdery substance that melts away when you chew it lightly. it is not chalky, it will not stick to your teeth and it is so light that it crumbles as soon as you bite it. so taste / texture- Nothing to worry about there... As far as this working: My issues were straightened out within 5 or 6 days of taking one wafer with each meal. I was getting all kinds of crazy symptoms that were causing severe anxiety and stomach aches that felt like I had eaten something that was just sitting in the pit of my stomach. Also very bad mood swings and anger issues. I practice a holistic lifestyle so I thought I would add this to my regimen of vitamins, herbs, kefir and probiotics to see if it would help me. (since I had always taken probiotics I didn't think extra enzymes were necessary)... But this seems to be the magic bullet that is making me feel so much better. I would almost say the issues are completely gone after now about 10 days of taking these at least three times a day. It is the only thing I have added to my diet so I am sure they are working. I would say to try these if you are having any strange stomach problems, but keep in mind since this works in synergy with probiotics, I would find a good one to go along with this every day to really tackle your problem the natural way.

This is horrible. Lemon taste wears off in a few seconds to be replaced by a very HOT Pepper taste. Not recommended for the average person looking for a simple digestive enzyme. If I wanted pepper, I would have added it to the food!
Take 1 tablet after a meal, preferably twice a day. Allow a tablet to dissolve in the mouth. Store in a cool, dry place. Keep out of reach of children.
