I get Seborrheic Dermatitis around my ears and at my temples. This definitely soothed the itching and flaking, but left my hair feeling greasy and coated feeling... while at the same leaving it kind of dry looking. I won't be able to use this to wash my whole scalp and hair. I get similar soothing results with a salicylic acid shampoo from another brand- but without the limp, greasy, and coated hair results. I may just use this to wash just my ears and temples and avoid using on my hair. Bear in mind, this does work at improving the itching and flakiness but may not make your hair look its best.

Love this product! No harsh chemical smell. Cleans hair very well. No itchy scalp. No flakes. Have oily hair and was able to skip a day in between washing. Can't say enough good things about this product. Will keep this on my list and will be ordering more.

I have been experiencing scalp sores and dandruff since March 1, 2013. I tried this product knowing that Selsun has three different products for dandruff, this seeming to be their mildest formula. It's fine for washing your hair and even as a body wash, but I found it completely ineffective for dandruff or for scalp sores. I can recommend it as a general cleanser but nothing more. I had very high hopes for this formula, and was very disappointed.
