My teenage son (14) uses the product primrily as a mask on a nightly basis. After showering, he applies the product and leaves it on overnight. I can't really attest to the effectiveness of OXY Daily Defense, but I'm dealing with the teenage mind. That means, little objectivity, no A-B-A scientific methodological testing of a product, and once his mind is "convinced", he sticks to it, ridgidly. When he was 12 I became convinced that there was a positive mood change when I bought the various acne products that held sway in television commercials. Knowing that, I decided to continue to purchase similar products online to have him try. Good decision. Son is generally appreciative because as he is in the middle of trying an acne product and has hope that this one will work. I now don't mind as much that a new product is significantly effective (although that would be glorious if I could find one)...I'm in it now for the positive attitude and maintenance of hope in his mind that these products are effective.
BTW, Oxy Daily Defense is the ONLY similar acne product that produces a mask that you can sleep in overnight. Others all say to apply, then wait a few minutes and remove it. I purchase Oxy Daily Defense online because it's unavailable locally, and buy it three tubes at a time.

My skin is quite sensitive and not every mighty product works on me. Now that I found OXY can be my life-time mate, I don't need any other acne medication. OXY is gentle yet effective against acne and it can be used in quite many ways. Hope this review helps!
I am using this product in the morning and night and effectively removed my acne without leaving any spots and marks. My face is clean and clear and my school kids no longer make fun of my face. Now I have nice and clean skin. I used Oxy BPO based products first but it was leaving brown marks on my skin. As burned skin. This Salicylic acid Oxy product clear acne without leaving any spots or marks.
Use as a Face Wash to cleanse and unclog pores: Apply to wet face and gently massage product onto skin. Rinse thoroughly. Use once or twice daily as a wash.
Use as a Scrub to exfoliate: Apply to wet face then vigorously massage product in a circular motion for up to two minutes. Rinse thoroughly. Use 2 to 3 times weekly as a scrub.
Use as a Mask to control oil: After cleansing apply a thin layer of product to face and allow it to dry for up to 3 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. Use 1 to 2 times per week as a mask.
