African black soap has been so sought after for its medical benefits for the skin that it is no wonder so many imitations exist. Shea Terra Organics incorporates authentic black soap into this skin toning & blemish relieving bar. Use daily for remarkably smoother, firmer & clearer skin.
On the Quest Believed to be invented by the West African Yoruban descendants of Egypt, black soap is an ash treatment made from indigenous plants. Using safely guarded formulas handed down through generations; black soap is still preferred in the region for its ability to smooth skin & clear infection.

Comments about Shea Terra Organics African Black Soap, 4 oz:
I love this stuff! I first saw this on another website, but I got free shipping here. For one bar of soap it does seem expensive, but i cut it up into smaller chunks and it lasts a while. I use it on everything! It has cleared up the blemishes on my face, helped with ingrown hairs, and calmed my eczema! I'm surprised that this one product can do so much! I use it almost every day, but if you have more sensitive skin I can see why that would cause some irritation. Works great as just a soap or a masque. Don't scrub directly on the skin! It is definitely too rough. Best to work up a lather in your hands and apply where needed. So glad I discovered this product.
I've also hear people complain about the smell (like ash), but my experience is that it has little-no scent.
Use daily. For best results, apply as a mask. Leave on for several minutes. Rinse off. Repeat. Due to slight abrasiveness, do not apply bar directly to face. Lather soap in hands & apply lather to face.
