This is similar to Aveda Control Paste or Redken Rough Paste (a slightly creamier version of the latter) or a firmer version of the discontinued Surf Paste by Garnier. Much more economical than Aveda or Redken. Great for creating separation in short textured styles and for eliminating "poufyness." It also allows your hair to maintain a somewhat soft texture without making it stiff. Comes in a nice big, wide jar. Great product especially if you're taking advantage of the promotion to get the 2nd one at 50% off.

This stuff works great, best I've tried, less buildup, washes out easier, less greasy, but manages to mold hair the best out of everything else I've tried. I was pretty happy with Got2b Chaotic Restyler Fiber Gum, but this OGX Moroccan Surf Paste stuff is definitely better.

I have thick, coarse hair, and I've been growing out my layers and bangs for about a year now. My bangs reach to below my nose, and this is the only product I have ever used that will keep my hair from falling into my face. I apply it mostly to my bangs, but occasionally use it throughout. It takes awhile to work it into my hair, and it's easy to use too much. The directions say to use a dime-sized amount, but that's too much for me, and I have a lot of hair. For my bangs I rub a little between my thumb and first two fingers and apply directly to the area needing strong control. For my whole head, I rub a pea-sized amount between my hands to warm it up, and really work my hands through my hair, rubbing the product in. I've yet to achieve the "beachy waves" look because this makes my hair not move. But it gives a piece-y, messy look that I like. This beats any salon product I've bought through the years. I've paid many times more for products that weren't nearly as good. This product has a nice, subtle fragrance that dissipates after an hour or so. Also, it says it leaves a matte finish, but my hair still manages to have a bit of shine after using it.

Bought this product for the first time to style my short hair and it works great. Leaves a defining style so I don't even need to use hair spray. No frizz, nice scent, light enough for fine hair. Use it sparingly.

I just this product on Monday of this week. I must say it does everthing is says. I love it and you only need a little. That little bit goes a very long way. I've been natural for two years and I just switched to Organix's products like a week ago. I use products from the Argan Oil & Shea Butter line, Coconut Milk line, Macadamia Oil line, and the Moroccan Agran Oil line. The product/s I use from each line are just freaking awesome. And I have very thick coarse hair. My twist outs look great thanks to Organix.

This smells great, like the ocean! Will last a long time because you only use a tiny amount. Scrunch your hair and voila... beach hair!
