We went through a couple of other "slow flow" bottle teats before these and found that they all dripped milk when the bottle was inverted. My daughter could suck the milk from those in an extremely short time, leading to more gas and spitting up. Worse yet, she learned bad technique and started biting me when put back on the breast. With the Calma nipples, all these issues have gone away. I love that someone finally designed a bottle teat that makes the baby suck in the same way as a real nipple. Highly recommended to parents who are alternating between the breast and pumped milk.
