Comments about AmLactin Cerapeutic Alpha-Hydroxy Ceramide Therapy Restoring Body Lotion, Fragrance Free, 7.9 oz: I ran out and my skin slowly got dryer and dryer on my arms and legs. My feet were going back to being dry and the dryness was becoming unmanageable. Then I realized it was the AmLactin that I was missing. Bought a bottle and will never be without it again. Instant relief from dryness after being applied.I don't like strong artificial fragrances so the fact that this is not full of perfumes is actually a plus for me. I can't believe people complain of the smell. If you need a heavily fragranced, perfumery lotion, this is not for you. Otherwise I highly recommend this product.. Comments about AmLactin Cerapeutic Alpha-Hydroxy Ceramide Therapy Restoring Body Lotion, Fragrance Free, 7.9 oz: I use Amlactin daily before dressing. Like that it exfoliates as well as mositurizes my skin. Can't think of anything I don't like about it! Comments about AmLactin Cerapeutic Alpha-Hydroxy Ceramide Therapy Restoring Body Lotion, Fragrance Free, 7.9 oz: I use this product every night, it's the last thing I do before turning off the light because yes, it does have a nasty odor, so falling asleep helps me avoid that aspect. I have a form of psoriasis on my hands that is treated with many applications of ceramide-rich lotions all day long, plus light treatments as prescribed by my Dermatologist. This Amlactin really does help tame and/or heal the chronic cracks and fissures on my hands, especially now during this long dry winter. I've also used it during the day and, once absorbed, applied a more pleasant scented lotion on top of that. Pricey, but compared to light weight lotions that cost less and do nothing, it's well worth it. It broke my face and under my chin area out like I had been burned. Not sure what it was that broke me out, but won't be buying it again. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend (0 of 4 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Comments about AmLactin Cerapeutic Alpha-Hydroxy Ceramide Therapy Restoring Body Lotion, Fragrance Free, 7.9 oz: This is not your fluffy I want to smell like candy lotion. This is hard core, skin fixing, TLC for your skin. It works on scales, KP (those bumpies on your arm), exzema...all of these in our family. Nothing else worked to get rid of my husband's scaley skin on his back, but this. And my son with horrible exzema on his hands loves how the AmLactin Cerapeutic feels on his raw, sensitive hands. It is not the loveliest scent at first, but it fades and the company is trying to keep it fragrance free. So what you smell is the actual scent of the ingredeints. They don't want to add fragrance to mask the natural scent because added fragrances can be irritating to the sensitive skin. For my families dry, sensitive spots, there is nothing else that works. Comments about AmLactin Cerapeutic Alpha-Hydroxy Ceramide Therapy Restoring Body Lotion, Fragrance Free, 7.9 oz: I have been using regular AmLactin for a long time. This version with ceramides is even better! It gives even better moisture and works wonders for my KP and eczema. Although it may not smell great there's a reason for that - it contains ammonia and has no added fragrance, both of which are good for sensitive skin! Best Uses Comments about AmLactin Cerapeutic Alpha-Hydroxy Ceramide Therapy Restoring Body Lotion, Fragrance Free, 7.9 oz: I have heard good things about this brand, so I decided to give this one a try as my first Amlactin product. I've used it twice and CANNOT get past the horrible smell. It takes hours to dry down to where I can't smell it anymore, but in the meantime, it is so repulsive. I've tried contacting Amlactin twice to see if this is normal, and they never answer their customer service eMails. It does seem to moisturize well, but the smell is so awful, I can't imagine ever using it again. I'm out almost $20.00 because Drugstore.com understandably doesn't accept opened returned products. Because Amlactin won't respond to my eMails, I'm turned off by the brand so I won't be buying anything from their line in the future. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend (2 of 2 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Yes / No - You may also flag this review Displaying reviews 1-7
