The pads used to be nice and sturdy and easy to handle. Now, the thinner "pads" are harder to hold and manage. Bring back the old version! Best Uses Comments about Walgreens Alcohol Prep Pads, 200 ea: I have been purchasing this product in stores and online for several years. The last box I bought in store was not what I expected. I hoped that buying them online would get me back to the old format. Instead of being a single felt like pad, what I got both in store and on line were pads made out of what looks like a thin folded piece of paper. They do not match the description on the box. It looks like they had a supply of boxes to use up. This is the very last time I'll shop at Walgreen's or drugstore.com. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Yes / No - You may also flag this review 12/20/2015 Recently changed the product so don't buy Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Walgreens Alcohol Prep Pads, 200 ea: I was buying this product fairly regularly and was satisfied until they recently changed the contents w/o any change in packaging, label or description and I ended up with paper-thin pads that were dry or could barely hold any alcohol, unlike the original thick, well-moistened prep pads. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Yes / No - You may also flag this review 3/21/2014 (1 of 3 customers found this review helpful) Too small Pros
Cons
Best Uses Comments about Walgreens Alcohol Prep Pads, 200 ea: I ordered this because my normal brand was not available. Although the swab was thick and contained plenty of alcohol, I like the single-fold pads of alternate brands better for my use. I always travel with alcohol swabs and when I have a cut to clean, I like being able to open the swab, clean the cut, then fold it back closed and either use the other side without getting blood or grime on my fingers or just to keep whatever I've cleaned off my skin inside the swab instead of being exposed . There's not always a trash can readily available when you're on the go, and being able to fold the swab and store it without getting anything other than alcohol on other things is something I appreciate.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend (1 of 3 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Yes / No - You may also flag this review Displaying reviews 1-4
