OK, this is not the smallest travel pillow in the world, it might be very uncomfortable if you have a very short neck but it does work. It supported my head enough to sleep a bit sitting straight in an airplane seat. It also doesn't cause your head to drop forward like the regular horseshoe shaped travel pillows. Another plus, your mouth will probably stay closed to avoid snoring and dreaded drooling because the pillow keeps your head up. If you do have a tendency to drop forward, you can turn the pillow around and have the opening behind your head but this really is not necessary because the pillow cinches up nice and tight around your neck.

Unfortunately, this won't come with me on all my trips because it doesn't roll up very small. It's pretty big. The manufacturer says you can velcro it around your carryon bag but I never managed how to figure that out. I did just hook it on the handle of my roller bag and it worked well enough.

If you're still looking for a travel pillow, I recommend trying this one. It's the best one I found so far.
