Turn the unit off, and unplug the unit from the outlet. Be careful not to switch the appliance on while cleaning. Cleaning the filter and the dust container after each use is extremely important. Filter: Rinse the filter under cold water. Wait until the filter dries completely before replacing it back into the dust container. Never use the vacuum cleaner if the container or the filter is still damp. If the filter is too dirty or damaged it must be replaced. Do not wash the filter or the dust container in the dishwasher or in the washing machine. Do not use a hair dryer to dry the filter. Always make sure the filter is in place before operating the appliance. Dust container: Remove by holding the handle in one hand, and the dust cup in the other, then turning both parts in a twisting motion to unlock the dust container. Once separated from the housing, hold the dust container and slide out the filter holder (we advise you to do this over a dustbin). Empty the dust container. Insert the filter holder in the dust container. To do so, make sure the ribs in the dust container face the grooves situated on the edge of the filter holder. The correct position of the filter holder is extremely important, as it guarantees the tightness between the dust container and the motor. After you have the filter in place, attach the dust container to the motor unit by inserting the ribs on the dust container into the grooves on the motor housing, and locking the dust container by applying a twisting motion. Motor Housing: NEVER IMMERSE THE MOTOR PART, THE ADAPTER, OR THE BASE, IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUIDS. To clean the base or the motor housing, unplug the charger from the wall outlet, and clean with a slightly damp, nonabrasive cloth or towel only. Dry the surfaces before plugging the adapter back into the wall socket. |
