I purchased two of these bottles for my husband and me about three weeks ago. We are using them daily and really are enjoying them. The previous reviews are not what we have experienced. I think that perhaps they may have put the bottles in the dishwasher which may have been the problem. Even though the product label says top tray of dishwasher safe, I have had problems in the past with like products warping so I decided to hand wash these only. They are wonderful and no leaking problems, honestly.

Works well if you are able to not tip it other than to drink
If it ends up laying down in your purse/bag forget about it; everything will get wet
While I didn't misplace the ring and don't have the problems with getting wet while drinking, it still is a poorly manufactured item and I would not recommend it

The rubber seal does not stay in place and thus you dribble all over yourself. It worked well the first time I used it. Since then, I haven't been able to use it at all because I don't normally like to douse myself with liquid when I drink! I should have listened to the other reviews of the product I read here and on another site.

Don't order it. Like other reviewers mention, the plastic ring thingy will fall out and basically it will always leak a little after that. The ring got lost in doing the dishes one night, and without it, I basically have a leak cup. It dribbles everywhere and is unusable.
