I have owned this item for a couple of weeks and continue to feel stubble and see dark hairs on my lower legs. I have very thick dark hair. I have used this product on my armpits, upper lip, and bikini line/lower abdomen with better results than lower legs. I also have TONS of ingrown hairs on my lower legs now and have used a scrub on my legs but not before every use. I'm going to try an exfoliating glove before using since I've read good things about that helping prevent ingrown hairs. Overall, my legs are smoother even with the stubble than they are after a few hours after shaving. I'm also somewhat impatient so maybe I need to slow down using it and also use the perfect angle adapter each time. I find it's faster without it but maybe that's contributing to my ingrown hairs - we'll see.

I had an original Epilady model that after more than twenty years finally,suddenly quit working. This was bought to replace it. I really like it. It's much easier to use than the old one and less painful. I like that it can be used on the face to get those stray, annoying chin hairs. I haven't used it on my underarms yet but my legs are smoother than they have ever been. This one is also quieter than the original. The only improvement I can think of is that it would be nice if it came with a little pouch to store it.
