If you're looking for a lip gloss or sheer lip tint that you DON'T have to put a lip balm underneath first, this is it! Usually, I have to apply Palmer's Cocoa Butter Stick on my lips under any lip color because I'm permanently chapped. This stuff is actually a decent lip balm on it's own. The colors are pale, and even the darkest color -the plum one- is still pretty sheer, so these won't substitute for lipstick. It'll only last a couple of hours, but it's never sticky, only slightly greasy (in a good way, like really lightweight Vaseline) which dries down quickly, and the taste is only slightly glycerine-sweet with little scent. Not a flavored lip gloss, and not really intense color, but it's pretty perfect for my everyday color and I love that I don't have to use my other lip balm if I use this. I prefer it to any lip butters I've tried, and it feels similar although it applies with a gloss wand.

I love this stuff. It is not sticky at all, has a smooth texture, and smells slightly like cake. It's fairly pigmented too, not like a tinted balm but more like a lipstick. I will be purchasing more colors.
