Consists of a flexible polyurethane foam pad coated with a permeable gentle adherent layer and a moisture vapor permeable, moisture proof film backing. The exclusive Safetac® layer seals the wound edges, which prevents the wound drainage from leaking onto the surrounding skin and minimizes the risk of additional damage to skin, even under compression. Safetac® technology ensures that the dressing can be changed without damaging the wound or surrounding skin or exposing the patient to additional pain.
