I have been kown to walk in the house and practically Drink these out of the jar, for instant energy! The nitrogen seal I mentioned is a guess, based on the smell that comes off when first opened, that I recognize as a nitrgen seal, which does not harm the product or the comsumer, but you will notice the smell. Be not afraid :) We are all carb conscious and after subtracting the fiber from the carb count, roasted peanuts are almost a free food, not to mention extremely high in protein, good fats and, well, ask a nutritionist about the thousand reasons to eat peanuts, unless you have an allegy to them, of course. These taste great, are generally on sale at a great price, and each time I order I add two jars of either sea salt or roasted lightly salted as the plain peanuts seem to have been discontinued. I compared the Nice brand to The Peanut Man brand, and the Nice brand was Much better, having larger peanuts and much better taste. That surprised me and confirmed me as a Nice purchaser only!
