People must read the directions in order to cook the bacon correctly. It depends on your microwaves wattage & how many slices of bacon you are cooking. Yes some people might have difficulty washing it, you need to use either a soapy rag or a soapy paper towel. I love mine very much & everyone I gave it to loves it tremendously! Again, please read your directions thoroughly. The bacon goes in a with the fat on the top.

I was hopeful but majorly disappointed. Even though I cooked maximum time directions suggested for the wattage of my microwave, the bacon was cooked unevenly and poorly. My microwave was a grease haven after I finished. Nope...don't buy this one it's a waste of money.

You need a microwave large enough for it to fit. You need at least 900 watts. Years ago they fit into all the 900's. Now be careful. They are now made larger on the outside so don't be fooled that the inside is not what you expect.

I like it! Put in microwave for 5 min to start then 2 min until I get the bacon crispy,doing it this way works for me. Is a little hard to clean, I empty the grease in a can then soak in hot soapy water then I scrub it and it gets clean.

Nice concept to cook bacon perfectly flat and have the grease drain away. It did that but the bacon overcooked. By the time it looked like it was getting done I stopped microwaving but it just kept cooking and turned out dry and hard. All the meat stuck to the bottom of the pan and in between all the slots. Could not get clean no matter how I tried. The slots are so narrow and sharp that a scrubber or cloth couldn't fit in between to clean. A dishwasher would have never cleaned that cooked on mess either. Will not use it again, much better off cooking bacon on a paper towel in the microwave.
