By now, I think I've used every nursing pad available, from all the big brand names to store brands, and these are easily my favorite. They are very soft and absorbent, so they are great over overnight. Even though they are thicker than other Medela nursing pads (and a little thicker than Lansinoh, Target, and drugstore brand pads), they are flexible, shaped, and tapered so they are discreet under clothing.
These aren't as thick as Johnson and Johnson pads, but are equally as absorbent, plus are larger in diameter and don't have that puzzling protrusion so they are far less obvious under clothes.
My main issue with these pads is that they are hard to find. It seems like Medela is just starting to roll these out, but I hope they give them a big promotional push because they are so superior to Medela's other pads (which I hate for being thin, crinkly, a little rough, and having a dumb seam in them that makes them show through clothing) and I'd like to be able to buy them as readily as Lansinoh.
