I am postmenopausal with fine, thin hair. When I was younger I had short, straight, & swingy hair. As I've aged it has become dull & lifeless, and it's so hard to find a conditioner that
doesn't leave my hair feeling heavy & greasy. This is perfect and the price
is very reasonable. I've found the scent to be light & mango-y.

I was really hesitant to try this product (and the matching shampoo) because of the mixed online reviews. However, they were on sale at the local drugstore, and I had a bunch of coupons. I took the plunge, figuring I could always return them if they didn't work. Of course, I ended up loving and keeping them!

By way of background, I have mixed Asian/Caucasian hair that is thick, dry, and wavy. During the spring and summer, I wash my hair daily due to my pollen allergy (allergans stick to hair).

After I wash my hair with the matching shampoo (see my review of the shampoo for shampooing tips), I follow with this conditioner, which I focus on my my hair's mid-shaft and ends. The conditioner's consistency isn't thick or heavy, but it's very moisturizing. If you look at the ingredient list, you'll see that cetearyl alcohol and sunflower seed oil, both great moisturizers, are the second and third ingredients. If I feel I need a little extra moisture boost, I mix it with Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Moroccan Sleek Oil Treatment. After applying the conditioner alone or mixed with the hair oil, I comb it through with wide-toothed comb. After letting it sit for the duration of my shower, I wash it out at the end.

After I've towel-dried my hair, I spritz my mid-shaft to ends with L'Oreal EverCreme Nourishing Leave-In Spray, which is a leave-in conditioner and which I again comb through with a wide-toothed comb. (You can also use a small dollop of the OleoTherapy conditioner as a leave-in conditioner.) I also put a little of the Garnier oil treatment on my ends. I used to blow-dry my hair. However, I now just let it air-dry, and I get incredible shine, softness, and volume while maintaining my hair's natural wave.

I'm more concerned with how well a product a works than how it smells, but for those of you who are concerned about scent, this is lovely. It smells like sunflowers, which is no surprise given the ingredient list!

I have highlight and bleached hair too blonde, this helped save it along with the Dove oil shampoo, my hair is finally responding to this moisture, threw everything else out!
