Never thought I needed an electric toothbrush until I bought this!! German made, in my opinion all things German made are awesome. It's very powerful, made my teeth feel professional grade clean. Highly recommend!!

Love how it feels after brushing!!! I must say that the toothbrush is best after having an oral dental cleaning. You will extend your cleaning visits, I guarantee you that. It does take some time to get used to the settings, not only to learn them but the timing as well. For some reason, I find myself brushing my teeth a lot longer with this toothbrush and I am always over my two minutes!. My best advice read the directions, learn the settings, and little by little practice doing round movements on each tooth, after a couple of times you will feel like a pro, will do it fast and enjoy it. The only down side I see is, it's a little heavy, gets slippery while brushing and you might touch the on/off buttom and turn it off accidentally. Still not enough for me to return it. I think with time I will definitely get use to it. Expensive but really deep brushing so I think it's worth it!

2ce daily thorough teeth cleaning. Having used 2) of the the Oral-B 5000 Electric Toothbrush with SmartGuide over the past 3 years, I was absolutely not willing to let the SmartGuide go. Thankfully, this new 7000 toothbrush improved on the 5000 in every way!!
Major differences I see are:
1- Much more powerful motor! In the most powerful mode, WOW!
2- The SmartGuide is about 40% smaller yet displays more. It even shows which level of the 5 you are using.
3- No more if something happens to your SmartGuide, you have to replace the toothbrush! Having 2, I see that EITHER toothbrush will trigger BOTH SmartGuides! This is no problem, as it locks on the stronger signal. It means the parts are interchangeable for the first time.
4- Display is much easier to read on the toothbrush.
5-Battery lasts longer!
6- Stylish, quality aluminum faceplate around SmartGuide, upgraded from plastic!
7- SmartGuide comes with optional, removeable wall mount.
8- Charger completely stops charging when toothbrush battery is full. Previous model did not. Saves energy & eliminates overcharging battery.
9- Bright blue LED's on handle give clear indication of status when brushing or charging.
10- Gorgeous, stylish, heavy duty crush-proof carry case with genuine aluminum trim makes the old 5000's travel case look cheap.
11- The black handle is super elegant & stylish! Looks GREAT on a black granite counter top!!
