I use this product once or twice a week depending on the number of times I wash my hair. If you want to cover grey hair at home with an easy one-step process this is definitely the product for you!

The Cool Brunettes product claims to eliminate red-orange tones from brunette hair after leaving in for 3 minutes in the shower AFTER SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONING and it did exactly that. It also imparted a very nice shine and texture afterwards. Nowhere in the instructions does it say to apply to dry hair. For people who did that, they got disappointing results. The instructions are simple. Use on clean hair that has been removed of excess water. I understand everyone's results vary. Mine happened to be very positive. I have used this product 2-3 times a week with great results. My hair is fine and a bit on the thinning side. It has given my hair much-needed shine and texture, also depth of color. It is not a permanent dye, it even says so right on the package. For those who are looking for complete gray coverage, it shouldn't be an option as it doesn't claim to cover gray.

This is not a hair dye, it just adds subtle color and shine to your hair, especially if you color your hair. I think it has a nice smell, it leaves a little color on your hands, but nothing that won't come off with soap and water, most of us would do it in the shower, so it's not a problem.

Is this the same product as Brilliant Brunette liquid shine color glaze with a new name?
After shampooing and conditioning hair, squeeze out excess water from hair. Dispense a quarter-sized amount of product into hand and spread from root through entire length of hair. Repeat process 3-5 times to ensure middle to ends of hair are evenly saturated with gloss. Wash hands with soap. Leave gloss on for at least 3 minutes, then rinse. Use gloss weekly to keep colour fresh.
