Love this as a primer, keeps my makeup in place, however I see no difference in the size of my pores when using it so the whole "pore eraser" tag that pulled me in isn't quite working. I'll keep using it, but I am going to have to look elsewehere for something to minimize my pores!

I have decent sized pores that I like to use a pore minimize on. Decided to try this product and I find it does nothing on its own and actually makes my pores look larger when makeup is applied.

I've repurchased this product 3 times. I find it to be very effective when applying directly on the pores around my cheek area. It seems to almost make my pores disappear;however, if i apply it anywhere else on my face, like my nose or forehead, it sits on top of my skin, and causes my foundation to almost looked cracked/flaky. I'm assuming this happens because my pores are smaller in these areas. Moral of the story, it works very well for large pores, and terrible anywhere else.

I put in on under my makeup, and since I can remove my makeup by 3 pm its ok(ish), but I have to blot after lunch without fail or else I look like a dang swimming pool on my cheeks and nose. Thick and covers pores and blurs discolorations, but a greasy oily mess. My blotting sheet always looks like the bottom of a carton of fries.

This only works on bare skin - meaning, I would not recommend using it if you wear liquid foundation. I've tried it under and over liquid foundations and it makes my nose and chin pores look even worse. It also makes my foundation separate and crack when patting or pressing on top of foundation.

I love this stuff! It smoothed the pores in my T-zone, sometimes I just use this and powder and I always get compliments about my skin! I love this!

This product does nothing for me:( I love maybelline products but this is the one product I dont like that Ive tried from maybelline. I have the Benefit pore-fessional pro balm primer and I thought this would be simuliar enough so I could just buy this primer and wouldn't need to purchase $30 face primers, but its not anything alike! first of all its clear and greasy feeling, it makes me want to wash my face right after I apply it! second, it does not erase or blur any pores like it claims to, it does nothing at all!!! I will just stick to my benefit primer.

I read about this in InStyle magazine and hoped it would be a good budget dupe for pricier primers. It is OK, not great. I wish it had lived up to the big expectations, but it is just a cheap wannabe. Stick with Smashbox.
