The shaver gave an adequate shave, but I found the trimmer on one side a nuisance--it cut the skin of my underarms (I am fair-skinned and older, and I don't need it for leg-shaving). It is about the only rechargeable electric shaver for ladies' available.

This is the 3rd electric shaver I've owned. I loved the Panasonic Close Curves, but was disappointed to discover that replacement blades cost more than buying a whole new one. I changed to the Conair because the blades could be changed at a lower cost, but it scraped and pinched my skin. After that, I went to an epilator for a couple of years, but I never could get used to the pain in certain areas, so I went searching for a new shaver. I'm so glad I chose this one! It's quieter than my old shavers, and it does a very good job, especially in comparison to the Conair. I can shave over areas that have been easily pinched by the Conair with no problems. It glides smooth, and cuts just as close as the other electric shavers I've used. The shape works well with my curves (I am thin/athletic, and the Conair and my epilator both had a hard time getting to all of the areas i needed them to reach), and it's fast and easy to use.

I have had other shavers in the past. The Panasonic one I had prior to this one was just all right, but nothing great. It finally wouldn't stay charged any more. I really wanted a shaver that just plugged in, not a chargeable one, because then I knew it wouldn't run out of power (the Panasonic one often did). So, I went with a long-time proven company, Remington, and picked this particular shaver. I AM SO HAPPY WITH IT!! I am VERY glad that I got this shaver because it is GREAT. I can't praise it enough and I thank Remington for making such a high quality shaver for us women (WELL WORTH the money). Your legs don't FEEL like they've been shaved with a razor blade, but they LOOK like they have been because this shaver does a great job. I can't stand using a razor on my legs--waste of money for razors--don't like the burn on my skin afterward--love the convenience of using an electric shaver. And, it IS handy having it be a chargeable one--I can shave my legs anywhere--I'm not confined to the bathroom!! I live in the country with no close neighbors--I can shave my legs while sitting on the porch swing! Absolutely love it and can't recommend this shave enough.

Finally, a woman's shaver that gives a close shave. This is by far the best Remington shaver I have owned. Always owned Remington's for years but unhappy with performance - went with Panasonic, not much better. I was in the market for another shaver, saw this newer version, emailed customer support at Remington and asked about this - response "much improved". And, it is! Shaves close, little noisy.
