I have taken Caltrate 600+D Chewables for 14 years, since my hysterectomy in 2001. I was 47 then, and am 61 years old now. My Dexascan in January 2015 showed NO osteoporosis. I think that is pretty incredible. The new tablet is a little firmer to initially chew through, but not difficult at all. The sucralose taste is not a big deal, and if that makes it better for diabetics to use then it is a small sacrifice. Caltrate has proven successful in preventing osteoporosis in my life, so I have started my husband on it now. I will continue to take it and recommend it to others.

Caltrate recently changed their formula for no reason. Although it touts itself as "easy to chew" the flavor and consistency is terrible. Bring the old formula back, please!!!

I like the taste of these much better than the old ones. I appreciate the fact that there are no calories (no sugar) to them.

I have used chewable Caltrate for years. Something changed because these pills are very unlike the others. For starters they are smaller in size. Secondly, and most importantly, the taste is downright disgusting! I considered throwing the bottle out after taking them for a few days, but economy forced me to reconsider. So I now make the best of it, but I will not reorder unless it reverts back to the original.

I have used Caltrate Chewable 600+D3 for many years. Ordered three bottles. When they arrived, they had a "New! Easy to Chew" tag on the label. The tablets are smaller (size was never an issue for me), but the tablets now leave a bitter after-taste in your mouth. This new formulation is not good. I wish I could get my money back!

The old formula that had 10 calories per serving was very tasty. The new formula with 0 calories has a very unpleasant after taste! The taste is so bad that I am tempted to throw the rest of the bottle away…and I bought a very large bottle. Did Caltrate not taste test this formula???
I will be looking for the old formula and changing brands if I can't find it.
