I purchased this product because it promised to keep my African American virgin hair straight even in humidity. One review I read said when it sprinkled rain, the rain didn't affect her hair. So, I decided to try it, since no other flat iron seemed to keep it straight in humidity. This flat iron delivers as it says. Now, I don't have to wear an afro all the time in the hot Spring and Summer. I can finally have some versatility with hair styles now. Thanks Revlon. Never stop making this product.
