As I'm on several medications which cause me to be more susceptible to infection, I do what I can to avoid picking up the various nasty bugs that are floating around. I also happen to love gummy bears, and so for several years, I was regularly using some children's gummies that contain Vitamin C, zinc, and echinacea. I taught full-time and was constantly exposed to every cold and flu that came down the pike, and the gummies seemed to decrease my sick days significantly. So I was pleased to find these, which are designed for adults--meaning they don't have quite the same intensely fake-fruit flavor as children's supplements, and they are adult-strength, so I don't have to take 4 a day. Can I prove these gummies enhance my immunity? No more than the FDA can, obviously. But I do know that I've been able to resist colds and flu that others around me have caught...and my husband was impressed enough by this to begin taking them himself (and he hates gummies!).
