This is a high quality product that we come to expect from Walker, but it's very different from the mild and smooth flavor of their buttery shortbreads. The ginger in these cookies adds an interesting bite of spiceiness. There also are chucks of ginger that are chewy. I found those to add a pleasant texture difference.
