This is the second one of these I've had. The first met it's demise when we were boating and it fell off when no one saw it.

I've put some ice and lemonade in this thing at 8:30 am and forgotten it in the heat of summer in a hot car. 8 hours later I come back and the lemonade is just as fresh and cold as when I put it in there hours before! None of the ice even melted! It says you can't use carbonated beverages in it but other than water or lemonade, vanilla coke is all I drink from it and it's been fine.

It's easy to clean, just sudsy hot water, rinse well and wipe dry with a dish towel. I like to clean the lid area with a q-tip once a week just to get in the crevices. I've run mine through the dishwasher too and it's come out shining. My husband liked mine so much that I bought him one of his own. He drinks coffee from his and says he can pour coffee in it at 5:00am and it's still steaming hot at lunch time. These are excellent thermoses, we highly recommend.

Keeps coffee hot for hours! Perfect water-tight seal allows me to bring an extra coffee to work in my backpack, and it's still hot when I'm ready to drink it. The lid can be disassembled for cleaning - but keep a spare lid nearby until you master putting it back together again! (It won't take you long.) I bought one mug to try it out - and then I bought 3 more because we loved it so much. It's available with or without the handle - but that's a matter of preference. Some people think it's necessary, and I prefer it without. The red is an attractive candy-apple color. The blue mug is very dark - almost looks black. Other colors available, too. A little pricey, but you get what you paid for with this fantastic mug.

I like my drinks to stay cold withouth them becoming watered down and some insulated mugs did the trick...sort of. This is the first one I've found that keeps them cold, and the ice doesn't melt, for hours! I was borrowing my mom's one day and liked it so much that I had to buy one for myself. I'm sure it will work great for hot beverages too.
