I LOVE this hair treatment. I have long hair that is generally fine and straight, but I'm prone to split ends, have an oily scalp but dry ends, and have a few areas where my hair is wavy and frizz. You could definitely say that my hair has multiple personalities, but a little of this after I get out of the shower does a fantastic job addressing each concern. I've also had some of my girlfriends use this while we were all traveling together - everyone had different hair types (curly and course, thin and straight, thick and wavy). They each loved it enough to go out and purchase their own.

After towel drying, I start with a pea size amount. I've found it's easier if I flip my head over and gently rub in a little at the roots and work my way down. I brush everything through with a detangling brush, then usually blow dry at least halfway. For whatever reason the product works best when I blow dry, but it hasn't left my hair greasy or product heavy if I just brush through and air dry. I don't recommend putting this on dry hair - it hasn't worked well on my hair at least.

It's a great everyday product on freshly cleaned hair. It does a good job in each of the style promises it makes. It won't make your hair crazy voluminous or provide a strong hold, but it does help with styling and the quality and health of hair long term. If you have a particular concern around volume or frizz, I suggest using one of LPs individual products for that - their frizz cream is great, as are the good hair day and volume shampoos.

Not only did it leave my hair greasy, even using a tiny amount, but did not do anything that it said - my hair was yucky, frizzy and flat. What a waste of money.
