I think this mascara is good for lower lashes. The brush makes it fairly easy to separate them and get good coverage. For the top lashes, at best it was average. I was nowhere near the Manga look. It might have been nice if they'd given instructions for specific looks. I tried using the brush in both the traditional way and kinda sideways so that lashes were more individually coated, and neither seemed to make a difference. It's just okay; I've used better.

I LOVE this mascara! I thought it was weird at first because of the bendy wand, but after my second use, I realized that that's what allows me to get all the way to the base of my lashes, giving me the longest most separated looking lashes I've ever had from a mascara! Seriously. They're long and fluttery just like false lashes. It never gets all over my lids or lower lash line, it doesn't irritate my eyes, doesn't make my eyelashes gray, and it dries quickly. I have no complaints.
The only thing I can see as a problem for some people is that it gets clumpy after two coats. I don't care about this because two is enough to give me the look I want. It's also a drier formula, which some people don't like either--but that's why it doesn't transfer on to your eye even after you've just applied it.
Place brush at base of lashes and gently sweep up to tip. Removes easily with soap and water.
