I bought this based on the product's contents. I've been looking for a shampoo with tea tree oil in it that didn't have sulfates and other uglies. Comparing this product's ingredients to others, I chose this one. I found the fragrance great. Very citrusy and I'm not usually someone who likes a lot of fragrances in my skin/body/hair products. But even as I was rinsing my hair out, it didn't feel clean. It left my hair with a coating on it that makes it feel dirty. I was not impressed. It might be better for other hair types. Mine is currently fine, but there's a lot (it's thick); tends to be on the dry side; and is long/wavy.
Wet hair well. Pour shampoo into palms and work product into hair, starting at crown and working toward the ends, massaging vigorously. Small splashes of water will help to distribute shampoo evenly. Lather and rinse well. If desired, follow with Valley Green Naturals Tea Tree Citrus Conditioning Hair Milk.
