I did not find that this polish lasted any longer than traditional; still chips in a few days. Removes easily with acetone.

I got this locally, along with the color Blacky O, to try out. I work in health care and nail polish usually doesn't last a day, with all the hand-washing and glove-wearing I do (the gloves are bad because my hands sweat in them and the polish wants to come off with the gloves). Aside from a crack that happened in the polish on my right thumbnail about halfway through (I have no clue how it happened), my Sally Hansen Miracle Gel manicure stayed beautiful and chip-free for two weeks. After I had a lot of growth at the base, though, on day fifteen, I couldn't help myself and had to start picking at it. ;-) This is the best stuff I have ever used! Also, my thumbnails have a habit of splitting, and this polish seems to be strong enough to keep that from happening (I'd just cut my nails before using the Miracle Gel, and no new cracks formed while they were polished). I'm currently filling up my shopping cart here with more colors (I came here because the local store has a poor color selection). Can't wait!

Great topcoat for the new gel polish. I used it at day 4 and day 8 and I had no chips after a full two weeks. Make sure your nails are completely dry from the polish before using and it will really last. Love it!!!

I don't write reviews... I read them but I'm always too busy to write them... But this product is worth the review. I take pride in doing my own manicures and spend a lot of time finding ways to do them right, and nothing makes me happier than this Sallie Hansen Miracle Gel. I hated the gel manicures for their UV light exposure, but I'm a doctor and the regular polish chipped all the time with how often I wash my hands. I'm currently typing with my Sallie Hansen gel from two weeks ago that has not a single chip, and the only reason I'm considering repainting my nails is because I want a new pretty color. And I will absolutely be using my new favorite Sallie Hansen gel color with the top coat. You don't have to do more than let your nails sit for a few minutes and you're off and running. Please believe this product is game changing. Gel manicures without the risk of UV light, and all of the benefits of longevity and beautiful nails!!

I tried this with the color coat underneath and alone. It chipped easily. Wasn't very shiny either.
