I really like this product. It is my first time trying it and I couldnt wait to open it up. It has a nice, subtle smell that seemed citrus-like to me. I put a quarter-size in my palm and rubbed fast to make it warm and glided it through my long thick hair. My ends just drank it right up. I am going to leave it in overnight, but Im just so excited to see the results tomorrow. I can tell you this though: I love it already!!

I am actually not a big fan of Burts Bees, kind of earthy for my taste and I had a bad experience with Burts Bees toothpaste once, but for some reason I really love the Avocado Butter pre-shampoo. I don't normally use a pre-shampoo treatment at all, but this product is now a part of my daily routine. I really like the way it feels and smells and especially the way it makes my hair feel. So I recommend it.

This is a five star product. It is superb on black hair. The benefits last for several days. I put it on at night with a shower cap and shampoo in the morning. My hair is moist and smells good. I have no need for a detangler and can go much longer between relaxer touchups.

My hair is unbelievably dry and hard to manage. I try all sorts of shampoos and conditioners but NOTHING has worked as amazing as this product. IT SMELLS SO GOOD too! My hair is much softer and I can brush it through without using detangler now! I highly recommend this product!

This stuff has worked wonders on my hair. I have long, thick, curly hair and very dry, split ends. I use this as a leave-in conditioner rather than a pre-shampoo treatment. After a month my usually dry hair is now soft and manageable. Other conditioners Ive used in the past have left my hair dryer than before, but this one contains no alcohol or harsh chemicals.

This product is a miracle worker. I have very fine, thin hair. Twice a week, I run a quarter-sized dollop underwater for a few seconds before I go to bed at night, work it into my hair and put my hair up. In the morning, I rinse it out before using my shampoo as usual. Unlike high-end products (I love Fekkai), it moisturizes, doesn't have any ingredients you can't pronounce, builds body and shine, and is CHEAP! I also mix a dab into a spray bottle of warm water and use it as a styling tool. The scent is heavenly, not "avocado-y" at all.

I absolutely love this product. It is thick and a little difficult to work through hair, but I run mine under hot water for a few seconds to soften it up before using it. Also, take a few more seconds to wet your hair with hot water before washing it. My hair is much more soft and manageable after using this! I absolutely recommend this product.

I've been using this product for a couple of years now. LOVE it!!! My trick is, I use after washing my hair. Put some in your palm, rub your hands together and then apply. You can either naturally or blow dry your hair. A nice side benefit is your hands are totally soft from it.

Really thick and hard to work into hair, but the results are worth the effort, and leaves your hair smelling great.

There are SOOOOO many conditioners to try ... SOOOO many claims to sort through. And every hairdresser suggests a different, expensive brand that is the perfect "solution" for your troubled hair. Well, after trying everything new that should work, I keep coming back to Burt's Avocado Butter which DOES exactly what it claims it will do ... give you soft, manageable and healthy-looking hair. The only reason I have not given this wonderful product 5 glowing stars is because I don't particularly like the thick, sticky feel of the product when it comes out of the tube; and applying it evenly and correctly is not as easy as applying other thin, creamy conditioners. However, when you apply this product correctly (to soaking wet hair prior to shampooing) it is a fabulous conditioner for stressed, colored, heat-damaged, or lifeless hair!
