Okay, it's official. I hate this stuff. I LOVE so much of Burt's Bees' stuff and their philosophy, but this turns my dry, rather thin hair into a staticky, clingy, unmanageble mess. It doesn't work as a conditioner, it doesn't work as a "hair product." I just can't find ANYTHING to say hurray about, not even the smell. Sigh. I hope that others find this works for their hair texture. Maybe I'll be able to use it to shave my legs... or to grease stubborn door locks.

I love Burt's Bees products, but this one just did not work for me. Greasy and messy, it didn't do a thing for my hair. It took several sudsings to get it out (which only dried out my hair even more). Hard to get through your hair, and as others have said: "No results."

I love this product. My hair is prone to split ends and frizziness, but this really helps to smooth it out. It is thick and it kinda smells weird, but I noticed a difference in my hair the first time I used it. Got a small sample, and had to buy the big bottle!

This stuff is truly amazing. I've always had smooth, straight black hair until recently a series of bad perm and coloring jobs that left my hair severely damaged. My hair was dry, dull and frizzy. I tried to deep condition my hair using the Biolage ultra-hydrating system, including those little tubes of Cera-Repair treatment but they did little to help except perhaps detangling the ends a little. Then I discovered Burt's avocado treatment and decided to give it a shot. And it was worth every penny. It works like magic! My hair is returning to its soft natural state. I did carefully follow the instructions, though. And I never used more than a quarter size of it. (I have long hair pass the shoulders). It's definite a very rich formula but if you are desperately trying to restore badly damaged hair; it's definitely worth a try!

This product smells great but did very little for my hair in terms of moisturizing it. It wasn't a bad product, just not very effective.

This product left my hair super oily for DAYS. I was so grateful that I had nowhere special to go the first day I used it because I looked like I hadn't washed my hair for a month. I followed the directions to a tee. I would advise against buying this product...get a sample first to make sure it works well for you!!!

Found this great product during a recent vacation in Maui, where my hair was becoming very dry from the salt water and the sun. The product is thick but once applied, it worked wonders on my dry multi-processed, multi-color treated hair.

I know it takes more than just a week or two to see results after using product of that kind. However, it's very thick, hard to spread out on the hair, hair become very heavy and greasy. I didn't see the point in using this product...I'd rather stick with african hair mayonnaise. AT least there I see some kind of results.

It smells awesome - a lot better than most of the other leave-in conditioners I've used. I don't find it that greasy if you really rub it in your hands and warm it up before you apply it to your hair. My boyfriend the product-phobe uses it too, and really likes it!
