I like this product a lot. It works well for keeping my hair healthy while I am deployed in the desert. I use it as a jel and it seems to do better than others that just dry my hair out. It's alright but not the best. That's why only 3 stars.

This stuff is okay. It only does a fair job at conditioning, but it does nourish well and it smells great. Plus, it's nice that you get to use it before shampooing rather than after so that the residue doesn't stick.

My thin brown hair looked like a slick of grease with this product. I shampooed my hair twice to get rid of the residue. I don't recommend this for thin hair. Sorry.

This is a really great treatment. I apply it a couple hours before I wash my hair and it's like a conditioning treatment. It makes my hair so soft. I have normally frizzy/curly hair but this makes it smoother. I use it about once a week. It's a little hard to apply, but well worth it. I love this and will keep ordering more!!

This stuff works!! I have long hair that tends to be oily/greasy at the roots and dry at the tips. The avocado treatment makes it so soft and silky to the touch and that feeling lasts all week long! It has a strange and icky consistency going on, but don't be fooled, your hair will be shiny and so soft after it dries. Look for the kit, which has THE BEST comb (I've been using it every day for 3 years) and a cap so you can sit and relax with the treatment in your hair and not worry about it getting on your face. Also good for an overnight application. No messy pillowcase. Overall, I highly recommend this for hair like mine.

Some people complained about the smell, but I personally like it. Works great before shampooing -- I would never use it as a conditioner though. It has to be washed out.

This product doesn't work. I wish I could get my money back.

**Now read this** I was skeptical about this stuff. The 1st time I used it, it made a mess of my hair. A month or so later, I remembered I'd read a review (from a hairdresser) about how to properly apply this stuff. It said to SOAK your hair COMPLETELY, then APPLY 1 tablespoon to SOAKED HAIR, WAIT 15 minutes, THEN SHAMPOO. I tried again, doing exactly as the reviewer indicated. My hair hasn't been this soft since I started coloring my medium brown hair to blonde and straightening it daily, with a Wet 2 Straight iron! I had to do something as my hair began to break it was so brittle. Awesome stuff! If you don't like this product, it's because you're not using it correctly! Remember, soak hair, apply product, wait 15 minutes, then shampoo! Key words SOAKED HAIR!! You'll be hooked!

I wish I could give this no stars. This was the worst thing I ever tried to put on my hair! I thought it would be thick and creamy and coat my hair, but it is almost hard and sticky. Wish I could get a refund.

I have short, thin and straight hair and love using this product as a styling aid. I don't really use it as a conditioner. I personally enjoy the smell of it and with just a dab it makes my hair shiny and gives me just a bit of control as I find most pomades and gels make my hair feel stiff and gross. When I do use it as a conditioner, I usually just put a little bit on my ends, go to bed and take a hot shower in the morning.
