This is an excellent product to use once a week before you go to bed. Although it my dry out my skin a little bit, it gets rid of dead skin and leaves my face feeling clean.

This stuff smells sooooooooooooo bad, but leaves a cool tingly feeling after cleansing...or should I say sanding. This is just way too hard of a scrub, but it did help with my acne somewhat.

This is absolutely, positively the BEST product of any kind I've ever used to clean my face. It reduces the amount of acne (mostly whiteheads and reddish bumps) I would otherwise get by at least 70%. Because of my combination skin, my doctor once advised me to switch to something more gentle, which I did, but I switched back without hesitation once my breakouts returned and I've found it hasn't done any damage to my skin over the years. I don't know what it is about this stuff, but it just WORKS. A friend has also been using it for years, and I recently bought it for my teenage male cousin who had bad breakouts all over his face. Since using this, his skin has improved dramatically and he now swears by it!

I stopped using this as a facial scrub when I discovered Peter Thomas Roth AHA/BHA Face and Body Polish, but I use this as a body scrub. It's medicated, so there's a bit of soothing warming sensation when I have it on, and it's great at sloughing off all my dead skin and leaving me smooth, silky and baby soft. It's really cheap too, so I threw away my sponge and scrub with this every other day. My skin glows and I get lots of compliments and people asking which spa I go to in order to get my skin so soft and polished. I also had a bit of bacne before, which is of course now history. I love this stuff!

I really don't believe in scrubs. I bought this and I don't know what it did. I really like trying creams, gels, and other stuff, but not scrubs or cleansers. I did like how the scrub felt, but that's about it. It smells good.

I have only been using this product for a couple of days and I am seeing good results already! My acne is drying up like never before and the product makes my skin feel soft and fresh after I use it. The only drawback is that throughout the day it makes my skin feel a little oily, but that could just be my skin type.

I would give the product 5 stars, however I don't think it is perfect--only really, really good. BEST product I have ever used on my face! I have adult acne (never had it as a teen, only now that everything else is falling apart too!). I have been using this for 6 months and will continue to use it. Doesn't eliminate all acne, but helps keep it to a minimum. My teenage son uses it also for his oily nose. The exfoliation is welcome and the tube perfect for the shower. Works great on my back too. I use it once a day or three times a week, I have sensitive oily skin and suffer nothing negative from using this product so frequently. Best product I have found for my face. Highly recommended.

Too harsh for my face, but I've had great results using it with a bath brush on my back - I tend to get areas of tiny pimples from time to time on my back and this really clears it up with regular use once or twice a week!

I can't BELIEVE how well this product works! And it's super cheap, when you look at most of the brand-name department store facial cleanser offerings. I use a lot of makeup, and I have oily skin with big pores and usually a couple of pimples here and there. Now my face is MUCH softer, rarely a pimple, and it truly has a healthy glow instead of just gross & shiny before lunchtime. My sister borrowed it when we were vacationing together, and she raved over it, too, and she has normal skin. I use a nickel-sized blob of it every morning. Love it!

The St. Ives Medicated Apricot Scrub for Oily or Acne Prone Skin has been a miracle product for me. My skin tends to be sensitive/allergic and oily. I've been using this for as long as I can remember, and I have never been disappointed. When I was younger, I had a lot of breakouts - not anymore, and I think at least some of this has to do with this scrub. It's been a lifesaver for me, and I can't say that about any other product.
