Works wonders on clearing up acne on both face and body - I would not cleanse without it.

For the price, you can't find a better scrub. I use this when I wash my face in the shower. I have a 3-step acne system that I use morning & night, so this scrub was the extra exfoliation I needed. It smells great, with a hint of apricot and mint. Although it's medicated, it doesn't feel like a harsh medicine. The grains are just the right size and texture; however, they might be too rough for sensitive skin.

I personally think this is a great value for the price. I've used it pretty consistently for a couple years now. It definitely exfoliates nicely, leaving your skin very fresh-feeling, soft and smooth. I could see the grains possibly being a bit too rough if you have very sensitive skin, but myself I have normal to slightly sensitive skin and I just use it about once a week and very gently (don't scrub hard) and am very pleased with the results. :)

I love this scrub because it works so well with my sometimes acne-ridden face. It smells great and has a cooling effect on the skin. This is priced so well, because I have bought MUCH more expensive face scrubs only to find that they make my face break out worse than ever. This however, is awesome and I can't believe I haven't discovered this product sooner. Definitely a thumbs up on this one, everyone!! :)

As a past victim of serious acne, this product is no different as an acne treatment as other cleansers with salycilic acid. The exfoliation helps, but too much might actually cause more breakouts. I thought this product was effective for minor cases. More severe cases, try Proactive via catalog. The best solution is always going to be prescriptions and a dermatologist. Fortunately, this scrub is a good quick fix for minor cases.

This product is great for people with a tough, non-sensitive outer layer of facial skin. It's good if your skin needs daily, heavy duty exfoliating and is resistant to being scratched easily. At the end of the day my face almost feels like a mask if any of you can identify. This product seems to remove the dead skin very well allowing my pores to breath and not get clogged. I like the consistency of it better than the regular apricot scrub. Along with a 2% beta hydroxy liquid and low strength benzoyl peroxide cream, my complexion has been consistently clear. People with delicate skin should probably choose something else.

This, like all other scrubs out there, make your skin softer. My problem is that this scrub did not help my acne and it is too irritating for the face. It is as good for your acne as the regular St Ives scrub. If you have acne, you're better off with the sensitive scrub by this company.
