I have used St. Ives Apricot Scrub for years and I simply cannot be without it. I interchange the Blemish Control and the regular scrub, and both work very well. I am prone to acne and if I don't use this product I break out very easily. Contrary to a previous reviewers statement, the Blemish Control Scrub contains 2% Salicylic Acid, used to treat and prevent acne (the same key ingredient in "Stridex" and other similar products). The little scrubbing granules really clean and exfoliate the skin, without pain or irritation. They also make a milder, less coarse version for those with sensitive skin. I highly recommend this product. And it was recommended on The View some time ago by a skin care expert as well!

I'm a guy who used Stiefel Labs' Brasivol for years until they essentially discontinued the product, and I prefer St. Ives Apricot Scrub with salicylic acid for several reasons: First, it's cheaper; second, it's much more readily available, and third, it cleans away all the old, oily, dead skin from my face (particularly my nose and forehead) that normal soaps and washes don't. It sounds gross, but it works. Recommended to anyone with oily skin.

I've never written a review of any beauty product online but this product is the BEST! I have been using it for 2 years. Before I started using it, I would have constant breakouts (whiteheads and blackheads) and now I hardly have ANY. And I've tried everything from the fancy-schmancy Elizabeth Arden line to Cetaphil to Proactiv and this one is (by far) the best. And thank you to St. Ives for having it at a decent price!

Good scrub for a refreshing clean. It doesn't really treat acne. I like it because it makes my face feel super clean, even after I put make-up on, I still feel the effects. So its a good value, considering the price and all.

This scrub broke me out the first time I used it. But it did seem to work for some of my whiteheads; I just can't use it on whole face only my nose and chin because on my cheeks it breaks me out.

This stuff works as well as any of the expensive brands. I actually like it more because it's coarser and feels more effective. It's also good to use on the bikini line post-shaving to help reduce bumps.

Best thing ever! Clears up my breakouts and leaves my skin feeling so soft and smooth, plus it smells good.

I absolutely love this scrub. I have normal to oily and sometimes dry skin! I have tried numerous scrubs from expensive to inexpensive and this is the best. They seem to have improved it as well, it smells delicious and does not cause any breakouts or filmy residue - it is great! It just proves that expensive does not mean better. This is an excellent product that I really enjoy using every day.

i love st ives products and i use this scrub once or twice a week like you normaly would for a scrub. i dont have alot of acne but i just have some small ones that annoy me and this gets rid of them nicely and makes my skin look smooth and refreshed, and it has a nice sent.

I love it! I don't have acne but I use it to exfoliate and prevent pimples and blemishes. My skin feels so soft after using it.
