I didn't read the description well and thought these had an applicator. As I have gotten older I need an applicator. I used to always use applicator free tampons. Also, this is the first time I ordered organic cotton tampons. I have become more and more sensitive to synthetic products over the years. Though I have found Tampax Pearl tampons pretty great,better than original tampax brand, I have a reaction to the fabric in the string. These tampons, when I could get them placed correctly, were pretty good, otherwise they were uncomfortable.I am thinking about buying the ones with an applicator.
These work ok but weren't consistently reliable. I also found the string to be hard to use because it was often embedded deep into the cotton... sometimes pulling it out also meant pulling cotton out which is just messy. These were on sale, but I'll be willing to spend a little more for another brand next time.
Sooo tiny but still absorbent, love that it doesn't have extra plastic to throw away but otherwise just as easy as regular tampons. All cotton a big plus too!
There are no strings on these - why didn't I read the description more carefully? They are nearly impossible to remove w/o doing some light gymnastics in the bathroom.
