I am very disappointed they discontinued the brown black color, but not enough to stop using this brand.
it does flake a tiny bit when combing your lashes out, but after that no issues. I apply it, let dry, then curl my eyelashes and comb out to a wonderful lash that lasts all day!

I really expected to love this mascara! The product desrciption and all the reviews I had read sounded like exactly what I wanted. It definitely has its good points. It goes on very smoothly, without any clumps or globs. It does seem to thicken my lashes a little, and gives a natural-looking "feathery" effect that I really like. I have some smudging, though. Not the worst I've ever experienced, but enough that I have to keep checking myself during the day. I don't know what all the women who love this so much do. Does it not smudge on them? Or do they just keep checking themselves in the mirror all day?

Was looking for a different, waterproof, decent coverage mascara that thickened and lengthened my lashes. Very disappointing! Weakly and barely covered my lashes. Tried if for two days and had to top coat with my old standby. Thought I was trying something new, but when I tossed the disappointing stuff in the discard drawer, there was another one just like it from a year or two ago! Staying with my standard, Colossal Volum Express, also by Maybelline. Lasts a long time, and so much better than this!

This is my all time favorite mascara. I have even tried fancy ones like Benefit and it just doesn't compare. This makes your lashes look fuller and longer. I often get asked if I am wearing fake lashes and have had makeup artists compliment me on my lashes :) And the waterproof is really waterproof where you need eye makeup remover cream to get it off. Some people might see that as a negative, but for me it's a positive as I like my mascara to stay on all day and night!

I use this every day. Love the fact that it is waterproof - it doesn't run when I exercise and I do sweat - not just perspire. It stays soft and doesn't cake. Has a natural look - don't need to use any other makeup except blusher with it. I just wish they still made it in Brownish-Black and not just Black - I am using Black now and am getting used to it. This is the only mascara I will use and hope it is not discontinued. Drugstore.com is the only place I have been able to find it. Don't stop.

I have short stick straight Asian lashes that don't hold curl. This mascara is great, it makes my lashes appear longer and thicker, and it holds curl the entire day, something I've never experienced with a drugstore brand. The only con is that it is pretty difficult to remove at the end of the day. I might try the non waterproof version to compare.

This is the hands down best mascara I've ever used. It makes lashes fuller so it almost looks like you are wearing fake lashes, but isn't so over the top that they don't look natural. I literally feel naked when I don't wear it. Taking it off can only be done with proper eye makeup remover or baby oil, but I don't see that as a bad thing -- just means it's a successful waterproof product!

For best results, apply Maybelline Full 'n Soft Mascara from outer lash to inner lash, sweeping brush slowly from root to tip. Do not let dry between coats. Removes easily with soap and water or Maybelline eye makeup remover.
