Comments about Aussie Total Miracle Collection 7 N 1 Dry Shampoo, 4.9 fl oz:
I have fine hair and love using this when it's freshly clean to add some body and texture to my limp hair. As a dry shampoo, it's a bit too dense. I prefer Suave for day 2 hair, but for clean hair I love this product.

I will never order this again. First, the smell is driving me nuts. Admittedly I am sensitive to scents, particularly strong ones, and the perfumed body care products I use are usually in the citrus/mint family of scents. This products strongly smells of bubble gum and cotton candy. The scent also lingers for hours. Secondly, the product just doesn't work. It is more of a hairspray than a dry shampoo. I don't wear hairspray on days I just want my chin-length bob to be down, loose, and full of movement. Sorely disappointed with this product.

I previously reviewed this item, but I would like to amend it a little. I've only used this dry shampoo three times before and then today when I attempted to use it, the lid broke and will no longer spray =(

Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion is the first dry shampoo that I ever used. I like it just fine, but my daughter hates the smell, which is cheap and strong like Aqua Net, so I've been looking for something that works well and smells better. Her hair is very straight, fine, and dry. Since it gets dry, we try to minimize the number of times that she washes her hair, but her scalp gets oily 2 days after washing. This goes on wet like hair spray, so you have to wait for it to dry before you can work it into the root or comb it through. That's annoying and time-consuming. Her hair was oily before we used this. It didn't really absorb the oil. After it dried, it left a hair spray-like residue. Her hair definitely did not seem cleaner. It looked and felt dirtier. This didn't add any body, either. On the plus side, it smelled like other Aussie products if you like that scent, but as a dry shampoo, it's a failure. Hair spray is actually an old hairdresser's trick for buying an extra day without washing your hair, so if you don't mind feeling like you just covered your scalp in hair spray, go for it. Batiste is still the best dry shampoo. Batiste DOES leave a powdery residue, but that's necessary to absorb the excess oils on your scalp. You should only be spraying dry shampoo on your scalp, not throughout your hair and never on the ends. You need to part your hair at 1 inch intervals, spray the dry shampoo on roots only, work into your roots, and move on to the next section. More powdery residue means it takes more time to work into your roots, but a good dry shampoo should give you body, take away the flat, greasiness on your scalp, and leave your hair smelling fresher without feeling or looking like it has a dirty residue. This doesn't really have a powdery residue, but if you don't like the powder, dry shampoo may not be for you. Bottom line, this didn't buy one more day without washing -- hair felt dirtier and sticky after using this.
