No overpowering smell. No icky residue. Lathers well and takes whatever product out, including my coconut oil. Detangling has been easier with this line of product. Hair is noticeably shiny and softer. M-I-L said hair is looking healthier after a rough pregnancy (reason why I had to try these new products). Hubs (not a perfume fan) likes the smell!!!
