Where has this been all my life..... I am in awe of this sunless tanner. I almost gave up on sunless tanning till I discovered this gem. I did not order this from drugstore.com, but felt I had to share my experience. I did read reviews in other places before purchasing and I'm glad I did. I do not use this straight, and mix it with a little oil (I used avocado oil- about 3/2 serum/oil ratio). I also use gloves, as this stuff is strong and I could image once it soaks in, you cannot wash it off your cuticles/rough spots. I would say it lasts close to a week and fades nicely. The color is golden- not brown, and certainly not orange. I am fair, burn easily, but in all fairness I have a slight 'base tan' from enjoying some early summer fun. Do no hesitate in buying this, but proceed with moderate application. I think if I would apply to much, or to frequently, it may be ugly. Although the smell isn't bad; slightly perfumey, I would not apply this in the AM. I put this on at night, let it soak in (can take a few hours) and go to bed. It does no stain my sheets or clothes. Cleanse and exfoliate skin. Apply an oil-free moisturizer to any dry areas. Pump serum directly into palms. Apply evenly all over body. Use sparingly around ankles, knees, and elbows. Wash hands thoroughly after use. Let skin dry completely before putting on make-up or clothes. Use daily for 3 consecutive days to achieve a tan that lasts for up to 2 weeks. Best if used within 6 months of purchase.
