Not a smooth application. Was hoping to use for both brow and eyeliner, but it hardly made a mark on either. Not sure how the brush is supposed to smudge it when it's so hard to apply.

This is the best eyebrow pencil I have ever used. It goes on very easy and I like the brush on the other end of it to smooth out the application. It also washes off very easy, It stays on all day long, I have about 20 brow hairs..so have to fill in the entire brow. I am grey haired and bought blond which is perfect. for the day. I also have the medium which is a little dark by itself, but I can blend it in with the blond for natural looking darker shade for evening . This eyebrow pencil gives the most natural looking brow ever ..FINALLY a easy way to get natural looking brows every time!!!!
