This cream is a nice preventive measure, but cleared up my baby's rash very slowly. The consistency is thinner than needed. I think the addition of lanolin is a great idea for development of a diaper rash cream: pure lanolin that was meant to be a soother for my cracked breasts worked wonders on my baby's butt - I still use it despite the smell.

I really like this diaper cream. It smells great, and I actually like the "thinner" texture, as I can use it with my cloth diapers without the risk of build-up (it rinses completely out). Though I agree it may be more of a 'preventative' than something to be used to clear up a nasty rash, I will say I use this on my sons bottom every night after his bath (before we put him to bed) and he has never had a diaper rash -- so as a preventative, it's doing a great job.

I use this product on my adult skin when it breaks out in a rash and it is the only thing that clears it up quickly. This product has great, fresh smell too. I always have at least one tube in my bathroom and one tube in my gym bag. This is a really great product.

I really like this product. It smells great and finally cleared up my son's diaper rash that we'd been battling for 2 1/2 months. I did have to really goop it on at first, but now that his rash cleared up (literally, overnight), I can put on less to prevent future diaper rash. What I love the most is the natural anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties. My only complaint is that I can't find this stuff in a larger container!

Smells nice, but is too thin to be effective, and my little one had a reaction to it. Poor baby DEVELOPED a diaper rash so bad that her little bottom was macerated, after I started using this product. We use Balmex without any problem. I've figured out that a diaper rash cream should be thick enough to stay in place, and not rub off onto the diaper!

This is the best diaper cream ever! It goes on and wipes off easily, and smells great!! No nasty perfumy or Desitin smells. It also calms red areas FAST! I've tried several other creams and I'm sticking with this one.

This cream is EXCELLENT at clearing up even really nasty rashes, and it smells awesome. It's on the thin side, though, so it is not the best at preventing rashes, as a heavy barrier cream like Desitin or Triple Paste can. Despite that, it can make a difference in a nasty rash even in the space of hours: I highly recommend it.

This product is great for diaper rash, skin rashes, chapped skin fron dry or wind, even (sorry to be graphic) sore bottoms from diarrhea. I even use it for cuts and scrapes. I always feel safe using California Baby products on my kids!!

Easy to apply, great smelling, does not irritate sensitive skin, and, most importantly, it clears up and prevents diaper rash. I love this stuff, and my son's bum doesn't mind it.
