We never run out of this! It works on diaper rash, eczema, chapped skin, cuts- you name it! We actually have 3 jars at a time (diaper area, kitchen, diaper bag) and use it on everything. California Baby products are the best!

Pros: Convenient Use

Best Uses: Hygiene, Infants, Mothers, Preemies

I bought this for my daughter's cradle cap and it worked great. It's also fantastic for my own very dry skin. I have tried lots of expensive facial lotions and this stuff works the best by far!

After reading reviews, I thought this would work well on dry patches on my face and my daughter's. Not really doing much for us. Overpriced....small container
California Baby Calendula Cream rates 3 out of 5 stars, from 87 customer reviews.used for cradle cap
by Lara[Verified Buyer] in Austin, TX on 11/24/08
Pros: Good consistency, Portable
Cons: Hard to use w baby hair
Describe Yourself: First Time Parent
Best Uses: Infants
Bottom Line: recommended
I bought this for my baby's mild cradle cap. It works ok but my baby has hair on her head and so obviously it got pretty messy when i put this on her head. So I can only really use it the night before I'm going to give her a bath. Otherwise her hair is a greasy sticky mess! I haven't used it on her dry skin patches yet, but plan to do so.

by Janet[Verified Buyer] in Texas on 11/23/08
Pros: Convenient Use, Portable
Describe Yourself: Parent of Two or More Children
Best Uses: Excema, Infants, Mothers, Toddlers
Bottom Line: recommended
I bought this product for my daughter, who has mild to moderate excema that flares up going into winter. I had heard this product can help. When we first got the creme, she was just starting to show some signs of a breakout around her eyes and upper cheekbone. We put this on, and it disappeared. Even with sporadic use, it hasn't come back. Additionally, I tried it on my rosacea-prone skin and have found that it helps a lot. I was already improving from an emu-oil soap I have been using, but this also really helped. My skin hasn't been this calm since my teens. I bought an extra one for a friend of mine who suffers from excema also, but she reported an allergy to it, so it didn't help everyone. The consistency is light, it absorbs very well, and the smell is not bad.

by JerSon[Verified Reviewer] in Middle River, Md on 11/20/08
Pros: Convenient Use, Sturdy Construction
Cons: expensive
Describe Yourself: First Time Parent
Best Uses: Cradle Cap, Husbands, Mothers
Bottom Line: recommended
I decided to try the product after I saw the review on cradle cap. It has been a week today and I must that I am very impressed at the quick results. I also, used it on her face because she had "baby acne". I wash her face with warm water twice a day and use the cream and Wow, what a difference. Her skin is so radiant. By the way, my husband was curious to see how it worked on his dry spots and now he wants his own. Need I say more?

by August baby[Verified Buyer] in Fort Smith, Arkansas on 11/18/08
Pros: Calms the skin, Convenient Use, Portable
Describe Yourself: Grandparent, Health Practitioner
Best Uses: First Aid, Moisturizing, Mothers
Bottom Line: recommended
My skin has become less resilient with age and this product calms the skin. I use it when my skin breaks out from irritation, when the weather is cold and dry, and to replace lost moisture in my skin. Excellent organic source of healing.

WOW!! This stuff is amazing! My husband has eczema. He has it so bad he will get blisters that bleed . This is the only thing that works for him. And let me tell you it works extremely well. As soon as he gets a blister or something he puts this stuff on and it's amazing the next day it's gone. He has tried numerous products and nothing works like this. It also works great for my baby's diaper rash, the real reason why we bought it (until my husband took it!)

My 10 month old son has eczema on his cheeks from food allergies. We were getting so frustrated because nothing else seemed to work--even aquaphor wasn't cutting it. Once I started using this it started to get better. It didn't work overnight and I still have to put in on his cheeks a few times per day but it gives him relief while we figure out which foods he is sensitive to. I used it on a cut and I think it helped heal it and my MIL used it to clear up a latex-sensitivity rash. On the other hand, my three-year-old daughter gets little eczema flareups on her back and this doesn't help as quickly as aquaphor does. Still, we are happy to have found this. Plus you can buy this in bulk from Drugstore.com, which we did.
