This is the perfect night cream. One because you wake up with smooth skin and our OLD skin needs more care than babys. It also has a very slight scent that is very relaxing so night time is the right time to use it for me. I've also used it on my elbow which I've been trying to heal scabby skin with everything for a couple of years. It's healed after just a couple days use. LOVE this product. Buy it. Go ahead. I wasn't sure because I'm not a baby but I AM a California Babe and you can be too!

I have tried all the creams out there. I am product NUT! I have everything... from Mustela to Original Sprout (great hair products though) to Aveeno and so on. This one smells great but at the end of the day it's not powerful enough to combat my daughter's eczema. I swear by Aquaphor and Vanicream. They are thick and goopy but they work. Just my 2 cents¿

Good for my eczema skin

I bought this cream for my coming baby, but ended up using it first on myself. I have some chronic eczema on my neck, and it gets worse since I got pregnant. I basically couldn't find any face cream that would not sting my skin on the neck. Some of the dry skin products are okay, but they tend to be too heavy/oily to apply on the neck. This cream actually works. It's mild. Now I can use it at night and my neck won't get itchy because of it. I probably will use it up before my baby arrives!

Although this cream was originally intended for use on babies, I'm with the reviewers who rave about it as a face cream. It's very moisturizing without being greasy and gloppy. After I apply it to my face, I rub what's left on my fingertips into my hands and I haven't had any of the usual cracks that come with dry skin on the hands. The scent is slightly herbal and I find it refreshing. If you are highly sensitive to scent, this might be the one drawback to an otherwise perfect product.

Yes, this is expensive, but amazing stuff! We have gone through 4 containers of it and it has almost become a joke about how many things you can use it for! When someone gets a cut or scrape, they always say..."yes, we know...Calendula Cream!" LOL It works for mystery skin irritations, wounds, dry skin, almost anything you can think of. We LOVE this cream and always make sure we have a container nearby.

Caused an allergic reaction! I bought this cream in order to use it on my 4 months old who suffers from eczema. My conclusion: There is no way I am going to touch California Baby products. I decided to try this cream on myself before I apply it on my baby's sensitive skin. I put it on my face. After 1 minute this cream made large areas of my face red, hot and burning like someone having a skin disease. I washed my face with water right away but still these patches of strong red stayed there. I am so disappointed. I don't want to think what could have happened to my baby if I had tried it on him first. For some reason I am now very sceptical about the credibility of all these "5 stars", "Great product" reviews. If you know what I mean. Just be carefull before you use this cream on your baby and even yourself. And by the way: the smell is neither good nor great at all. Pricely for no reason what so ever as far as I am concered.

I've tried everything on my toddler's dry, flaky skin, even prescription medication. This cream did the trick in a few applications. The fragrance is a little odd but pleasant. It is a little pricey.

Great product! My 17 month old suffers from mild to moderate eczema and this product has helped tremendously! I've tried EVERYTHING out there to include the Dr. prescribed steroid creams, which didn't work. ( I've only used that once because his sores were weepy and I had to do something fast.) I'm an all natrual mamma! I hate using all those chemical creams on his delicate skin, but now I don't have to anymore. I only gave it 4 stars because it didn't completely clear up his skin...he still has a very fine rash, but not red or sensitive anymore. This is the only product that has even remotely helped him! The smell is WONDERFUL and it spreads evenly and quickly absorbs. I've started using this on my face at night before I go to bed and I love it for me too! My skin is soft and silky! Thanks California Baby for making SAFE, effective products!
