Great, but I'm confused...

Bottom Line: recommended

I have sensitive skin and this is the best sunblock I have found that doesn't irritate me face. My makeup doesn't have that shiny look that I get from other sunblocks when applying foundation over it. However, I don't see any parabens listed in the ingredients but I have several sample sizes of this product that do list parabens in the ingredients. Have they changed the formula? I'm wondering what's up.

I use this daily and it provides great protection,causes no breakouts, soaks in and is not greasy at all, leaves no white film(I'm pale so it may on darker skin tones)and my skin feels soft and makeup goes on smoothly if not better after using this product. I'm an avid daily user of sunscreen and have tried many brands from drugstore to high end and this is by far my favorite!

I'm phobic when it comes to sun exposure because I have hyperpigmentation caused by the pill and being in the sun. I was told to use DDF because Peter Thomas Roth discontinued my favorite titanium and zinc oxide based sunscreen. Although I was told it's a nearly identical product, I must disagree. This sunscreen starts to smell a little on the rancid side after about a month. I'm now using Clinique's City Block because it has a higher percentage of titanium oxide and zinc oxide. This DDF product doesn't even have half of that protection.

This product is indeed rather moisturizing, so I do not use it with any moisturizers. Otherwise, a perfect physical sunblock that is organic. It sets into my skin just as expected, and I think the scent is light. It's a little pricey, but I do enjoy it very much.

Great price and great protection, however this sunscreen is very oily, so I don't recommend it if you have a moisturizer you have to use (i.e. a medicated one). To use this, I had to stop using my current moisturizer. Otherwise, this sunscreen is fine for daily use.

I love this sunblock. I've been looking for a physical block for ages. No whiteness - I used to use Neutrogena, which made me white. Consistency is fluffy. Has the high SPF, and doesn't make me oily. Fantastic!

I have dry, sensitive, acne-prone skin, and I really like this product. It doesn't sting or irritate at all. It's a good price, too. I don't like how the packaging is. So much of it just drips out when you squeeze just a little. Also, it leaves your skin white, so you have to wait a while before applying your makeup. Don't use this with a light foundation. I use this when I wear my darker foundation. I highly recommend any DDF product for people with sensitive skin.

I love this stuff--it is completely non-irritating and works. I use it every day. When I'm spending hours outdoors, I still use it (it's the only sunblock I use), but I know to reapply often, because it doesn't bind to skin the way waterproof chemical sunscreens do. I'm also very very fair--the whitish cast it leaves looks like makeup on me, but would absolutely not work on someone without naturally pasty skin.

Yeep! I burned through this. I've been out longer in sunscreens that claimed a lower SPF and had less damage.

I bought this after reading the previous reviews and now regret it. For me, it left my face white and pasty. In fact, I had to wash it off several hours later because so many people at work asked me if I was alright! This is probably a good product for someone who is extremely pale. I have yet to find a physical sunblock that doesn't leave me pasty so I will stick to the chemical ones.
