I have been soaking my makeup brushes in sudsy water for years, more often than not letting it go WAY to long. Now I use this product once a week and I love it! As directed I spray a tissue with the product and wipe a brush back and forth until the color stops staining the tissue. With big brushes it might take 2 tissues but usually not. I have several brushes, large and small, and this product does the trick! In addition, the brushes dry rapidly which is definitely not the case with sudsy water!

The product does not work.it does not remove makeup from brushes and that is what it is supposed to do. I tried to put it directly on brush and I also soaked the brushed with it in water for several hours. In both instances, the brush was the same as it started out, still full of makeup. There was no lather. I got a better cleaning of the brush with regular hand soap. Don't buy this.
