As many people know this product has many uses. As it is well known it is the best personal lubricant for sexual activity and it is fabulous! Does not dry out and has no side effects. Highly recommend!

Overall a great skin treatment. I use to use products such as vaseline for male purposes, but once I tried Albolene I stayed with it. I recently aquired eczema and boy does this product provide that extra moisturizing, and I use it daily. Just a little bit goes a long ways. Excelent Product, I would recommend it to anyone with dry skin.

Let me first preface this review by saying that not all products are for everyone. If your skin does not react well to mineral oil or petroleum products, then stay away from Albolene cream. My skin, however, loves this formulation. On the other hand, my face breaks out from many plant seed oils, but I do not demonize these ingredients as I have seen done with mineral oil and, esoecially, petroleum products. I use this product every other night after washing my face (I use a skin-clarifying product the other nights) Just a very small amount in a thin layer is applied, and my skin becomes, and STAYS, soft and calm. Dry air in my region causes me to break out and my skin becomes a bit irritated. This product takes care of dry, irritated skin and it is proof as to why some old ladies possessed the most lovely skin in their old age. It works for me to take off all of my makeup, and I mean all of it, and it soothes and moisturizes my face. I will say that my neck and upper chest areas are prone to milia so I use pure aloe vera gel there. It is simply a matter of finding what works for you and then using it. It works for me. And you can't beat the price. I also use it on chapped hands and my lips.

My mom used this in the '60's, and since I was in my 20's I have used Albolene to remove my mascara. It melts it right off, without pulling out my precious eye lashes. For a couple of years I bought Lancome, which was good, but expensive. Now that I know where to find Albolene, I will never buy another makeup remover. By the way, I am 52, and have very youthful skin, and I am sure it is due to using Albolene (and avoiding sun)).

This leaves a greasy film on my face that is difficult to remove. I will only use it if I have to remove heavy makeup or sunscreen. Then I follow it with a cleanser. My skin feels irritated after that.

I was wondering if the ingredients have changed. My mother has been using Albolene Cream to remove her makeup and moisturize her skin for over 40 years. Just recently she had an allergic reaction to it -- intense itching, flaking and redness, around her eyes, on her neck and chest area. Her skin looked terribly blistered and parched. She went to the doctor twice and has been on several medications, one containing steroids. Prior to this bad experience, she thought Albolene Cream was the best thing she had ever used. Now, she's afraid to touch it.

I have been using this product for as long as I can remember, probably over 30 years!! My mother always used Albolene and, now at 91 years of age, her skin looks great. People can't believe her age. It is the best makeup remover ever (I tissue it off) and it leaves your skin feeling very soft. It is fragrance free and very gentle. I also dab a small amount on my face before putting on makeup. It makes the makeup go on smoother and gives the face a fresh look. I have been told I look 10 years younger than my age. I highly recommend purchasing Albolene. You won't be disappointed. The large jar lasts a long time since you only need to use a little.

My mother, who passed away in 1994, used Albolene almost all her life. When she passed her skin at 80 looked better than most forty year old women. I'm using it now and it has made my skin soft and supple and blemish free. I apply it liberally at night and tissue it off. I then use a clean face cloth and remove any excess. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to have beautiful skin. Stay out of the sun too. That is the best thing you can do for your skin. Use sunblock in summer and winter and wear a hat if possible. Hope I'm not sounding like I'm preaching, but sun is the worst thing you can overdo for your skin!! Enjoy!!!
